When you make presentations at different locations and need a projector screen that you can carry about to use at every location, you need a portable projector screen with a stand. A portable projector screen is mounted for use at a location and dismantled after use to be taken away. Such portable screen has a stand to mount it with.

A popular portable projector screen type is the tripod projector screen. It has a built-in tripod stand. There is also a floor standing projector screen, also called floor rising projector screen. It is designed like a roll-up advert banner, with a base to stand on. Place it on the floor at your presentation location and release the screen, which rises from the casing base to provide the display surface.

If you make presentations in a fixed location, a mounted projector screen would be better. Such screen can be ceiling-mounted or wall-mounted. Once mounted, the screen stays mounted and can only be raised up into its casing when not in use and lowered for use, when required.

Some mounted screens have an electric motor to enable motorised lowering and raising up, controlled with a remote control. Those are the electric projector screens, also called motorised projector screens. This is a professional grade projector screen that is convenient to use. If you need a mounted projector screen, it's best to go for the electric screen.

Some mounted projector screens do not have an electric motor and remote control and so are operated manually. Those are called manual projector screens. If, for any reason, you prefer to control your mounted screen manually, then this is your screen type.

There are some other screen types, but you most-likely should get what you require from the options listed above. As to screen size, some factors are to be considered, but you need to ensure, at least, that what you buy will fit into the available space.
